Pantsil A Blues Target?

According to the Daily Mirror, Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish is very interested in signing Fulham full-back, John Pantsil.

The defenders contract will soon run out at Craven Cottage which means there will be a bit of a bargain to be had, this has alerted the Blues boss.

Pantsil joined he Hammers when he came to England for the first time and is said to be welcoming the move as he wants first team football.

Odd situation. Pantsil went from a mainstay for two seasons under Hodgson to an absolute outcast under Hughes. He doesn't offer much in attack, but is a very solid defender. New direction, I guess.
