Toughen Up Zigic Told

Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish wants his striker Nikola Zigic to toughen up; this would make him a better player in the Premier League.

The former Valencia forward has been taking a while to adapt to the English game, but he has shown on odd occasions that he is one of the best in the business with his head.

However, McLeish believes that the Serbian`s game should not be all about height, he needs to use a bit of muscle in the penalty area.

'He's become more aggressive but I think he could get more aggressive still,' McLeish told Sky Sports.

'Psychologically, it has been really tough for him. But now his stats are up and he works really hard for the team.

'The players respect him and he's a proud guy, I think it's a Serbian trait. He has a great mental toughness.'
