Blues Face West Ham In Carling Cup Semi Final

Birmingham City`s reward for teaching Villa a lesson in the Carling Cup quarter finals is a semi final tie against West Ham United.

The first leg will take place at Upton Park on the week commencing January 10th, the second leg at St Andrews follows on the week commencing the 24th.

If the aggregate scores are level at the end of 90 minutes in the second leg, the game will move into extra time. Should the scores still be level, then the away goals
rule will come into play.

The other semi final tie is between Ipswich Town and Arsenal.

'Teaching villa a lesson' what was that, how to sit back with 11 men behind the ball while the opposition attacks attacks attacks and gets robbed. We did that with o'neil no thanks.

Nothing upset me, we lost i dont care, if we got beat easily then i would be *****ed but i no from the game we are still the dominant team out of the two so 1 loss in 8 games doesnt hurt.

And nothing about the disgraceful behaviour of SOME of your fans. I don't mind losing but to run on the pitch and act the way they did is shameful, and yes I do know Villa fans retaliated and that is also shameful. Congratulations on your win. Enjoy it.

Must be nice to be able to celebrate a win against your biggest local rivals. Pity about the stuff afterwards as that put a bad taste into neutral fans mouths. You deserved the win and that should have been enough for a good knees up and a pint or three. No need for the aggro at all.
