Tykes Want To Extend O'Connors Loan Spell Again

Tykes Want To Extend O'Connors Loan Spell Again

Barnsley manager Mark Robins is looking to extend Garry O'Connor's loan spell from Birmingham City.

The 27-year-old takes to the field for what should be his last appearance in a Tykes shirt against Sheffield United on Saturday, but Robins wants the striker for a third loan spell.

'He has worked hard and has done very well for us. We remain hopeful that something can be done,' Robins told BBC Radio Sheffield.

'I've been talking to Garry and his representative. We will see what happens after this loan period.'
