Bowyer Could Be In Trouble

Birmingham midfielder Lee Bowyer could find himself in hot water with the FA which could lead to the player receiving a ban.

Television replays show that Bowyer appeared to stamp on the knee of Cacary Sagna while he was on the ground.

There was no action taken by match referee Peter Walton, he will be contacted by the FA to see if he saw the incident

If the answer is no, the FA could charge Bowyer with violent conduct which in turn could lead to a three match ban.
