Toon Interested In Larsson?

There are reports this morning that Newcastle United are looking to take Blues midfielder Sebastian Larsson to St James Park.

Larsson is out of contract in the summer and City are wanting him to stay, but so far a deal cannot be struck between player and club.

It is rumoured that Blues would be prepared to cash in now in case a deal cannot be done, rather than let the Swede move for a free in the summer and Newcastle are reported to be the club who is making the most noise although others are interested.

Spanish side Atletico Madrid have been linked with the player for some time as well as there being interest from Liverpool, Everton, Stoke and Sunderland.
