Birmingham Miss Out On Miller?

There are reports in the Turkish press that say the race to sign Rangers' striker Kenny Miller looks to be over and Birmingham City have to admit defeat.

News has been breaking that the player has opted to sign for Turkish side Bursaspor.

Miller has agreed contract terms with Bursaspor in principle, according to reports in the Turkish press. It was only yesterday that Blues gave up on trying to sign Robbie Keane from Tottenham as they could not agree personal terms with the Republic of Ireland captain.

It is claimed in Turkey that Miller would earn nearly £50,000 a week if he switched to Bursaspor, almost double the reported terms offered to him to move to Birmignham.

And now the hopes of signing Miller look to be scuppered.

There is a lot of people who support Blues that dont want him, being good in the scottish league doesnt mean anything when it comes down to the proper English football leagues

I myself am glad we didn't sign either Miller or Keane, it was pretty obvious neither wanted to play for our club and it was all about money. I doubt either would have given 100% and both would've just cost this club much needed money, without the much needed goals and effort that this club needs. Come on Alex! find someone talented that WANTS to play for us, surely there must be someone out there.

I think you are absolutely right Wardogz, there is no doubt that money comes first with the pair of them.
