Michel Has No Future At Birmingham

Michel Has No Future At Birmingham

It looks like Blues midfielder Michel could be heading for the exit door at St Andrews.

The Spaniard has his representatives at the club talking over his future after he has failed to make the grade for Alex McLeish.

The good form of Barry Ferguson has meant that Michel has not been able to get a look in as far as the first team goes and the boss admits that he can`t see the player being part of the set up at Blues in the immediate future.

'I am sorry the Michel one has not worked out,' McLeish told Sky Sports News.

'But Barry Ferguson's form has been stunning and made it difficult for Michel.

'Who knows, it could have been different if he had got the nod ahead of Barry and played regular football.

'I've been involved in a few transfer dealings over the past couple of years and I'm disappointed one hasn't worked out.'
