Jerome Staying With Blues, For Now

Stoke City have been rumoured to be wanting to take Blues striker Cameron Jerome to the Britannia Stadium, some reports even go as far as to say they have made a bid of 4 million. No point though as McLeish aint selling.

The boss says to offload the striker would be 'madness` when they haven`t even got a replacement for him.

'How can we let someone go when we have not even brought anyone in,' said McLeish. 'It would be madness.

'Jerome has these positives. He is quick and strong. We could do with getting someone else in who can compete for a place in the side alongside him as well as the other strikers.

'We have created chances this season but we have not been prolific in terms of finishing them off.'
