Davies Makes The Short Move To St Andrews.
Birmingham City have completed the signing of Aston Villa defender Curtis Davies.
Davies leaves Vile Park after not being able to command a first team place, although at one stage it looked like he was going to be moving to Leicester City.
The player himself stated on his twitter page that he was going to the Foxes, but that deal failed to materialise and Blues stepped in to bring him the short distance to St Andrews.
He passed a medical and signed a three and a half year deal.
'He had the option to go to Leicester or Birmingham, so he opted for Birmingham City,' Gerard Houllier said.
