'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Another Pre Season Thumping

Blues obliterated their Spanish opponents, San Pedro yesterday with a nice 6 goal margin.

Admittedly San Pedro are the equivalent of a conference side, but another big win can only improve confidence and team spirit as we bid to return to the Premiership at the first attempt.

According to reports the scoreline could've been much higher than 0-6, with some bad finishing to blame and excellent goalkeeping from the 16 year old between the sticks.

Probably more important than the scoreline was another 40 minutes for Dunn, and Forssell played an hour.

Details from IC Brum:

Doyle, Bruce, Painter (Kelly 60), Oji, Martin Taylor (Dunn 60), Aluko (Danns 45), Kilkenny (Johnson 60), Clemence, Jerome (Sadler 45), Forssell (Pennant 60), Gray.

Campbell, and Maik Taylor were unused subs.

Goalscorers:

Kilkenny, Forsell 2, Sadler, Dunn, Pennant
