'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hleb Unlikely To Stay At St Andrews

On-loan Birmingham midfielder Alexander Hleb says that it is very unlikely that he will join City on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

Instead, the 29 year old would prefer a move back to Arsenal where he made a name for himself.

The Belarus international has been on loan at St Andrew`s from Barcelona and it has been reported that manager Alex McLeish would like to sign the player on a full time contract, but that now looks unlikely.

Hleb said: "I want to give my best for Birmingham but if I have chance to go back to Arsenal, of course I would.

"I am happy and enjoy my time here, everything is good but this is a little bit not my style of football."

"Of course, I love Arsenal,"
he added. "It is always in my heart but now is too early to speak about a new club.

"Everything is possible but I am just saying if I get this chance, of course I`d come."

To me this is both disrespectful to Birmingham and also a little delusional to exexpect an arsenal return.
