Blues Look Set To Sign Marlon King

There are lots of Blues fans against it, but it seems likely that Birmingham City will be signing Marlon King as they start to rebuild for next season.

King is out of contract at the Ricoh Arena and talks have already been held between the player`s representatives and a move sooner rather than later seems likely.

Since Blues were relegated last season, they need more firepower after losing players from the strikers roll and although King does not fill a lot of fans with any glee, boss Alex McLeish feels that he is just the sort of player that Blues are after.

King, 31, scored 13 goals for Coventry last season.
