Pannu Angry At Quitter McLeish

While many Blues fans are dancing in the street after the news that Alex McLeish has moved on, acting chairman Peter Pannu is not quite so happy and he has criticised the Scot for quitting Birmingham.

McLeish quit as manager in an email sent yesterday to Pannu, which seems a bit fishy after agreeing deals for Marlon King, Chris Burke and Morgaro Gomis. Pannu was expecting McLeish to stay on at St Andrews and fight to get Blues back into the top flight at the end of next season.

Straight after the news about McLeish leaving broke, he was linked with the vacant manager`s job across the City at Aston Villa, which would be very funny if it was to happen. Vile fans are not happy to say the least about that news.

Pannu said in the Daily Express: 'I have just bought him [McLeish] three players of his choice.

'Having secured him the fourth one, Koevermans, I get an email on Sunday. It speaks volumes.

'We spent £40million, supported McLeish all the way, and what we get is a relegation and a snub when Carson gave him unwavering support.'

McLeish had two years left on his Birmingham contract, and the club will almost certainly be seeking compensation should he mysteriously walk straight into another job.

Pannu added: 'He is still our contracted staff and Birmingham City FC does not grant him any right to speak to any outsiders until the matter is resolved. I'll be meeting my legal team tomorrow. It's about time discipline is instilled into this game and I am not a person who gets pushed about.'

Steve Cotterill? What the hell?? On Sky sports it states he's the first name linked with the blues. If this is true League 1 beckons...
Massa
You do Steve Cotterill a huge injustice 'Massa' he's done great at Pompey considering the crap he has had to deal with down here.. that said he won't join the blues it's no more than a betting scam.. evens this morning .. he'll be out to 10-1 by this time tomorrow.. you wait and see.. Wish you luck with whoever you get .. but be careful if Alex Mc goes to Villa .. he might just come back again .. it has been known to happen.. a la Redknob from Pompey to Saints... and back again.. it's bitter pill..

According to Sky Sports, Chris Hughton wants to become the next Blues Boss. I hope so..
Mr Parker
Unfortunately it aint up to him, but yeah out off whats been touted so far I would like to see him or matteo as the new man . Both play decent football and both know the division
