Reports Say Villa Have Been Sniffing

Sky Sports are reporting that Aston Villa have made an approach to Blues about speaking to Alex McLeish about becoming the next boss at Villa Park.

Bookmakers up and down the country have the Scot favourite to take over across the City, some we understand have stopped taking bets, But so far it is just speculation, nothing has been set in concrete.

Now as you would imagine, there is a bob or two to be made here and it seems like Blues are going to make the most out of this by kicking up a fuss, by blocking any attempts that Villa make to speak to McLeish.

In my opinion, quite why they want him is a mystery to me and a lot of other Blues fans, you can`t say the football was very entertaining under his leadership of late and taking us back down twice cannot make your CV look very good, although he did win the Carling Cup, granted.

Birmingham are believed to be looking for up to £5million for McLeish if he was to go to Villa Park.

The plot thickens.

Totally laughable that anybody would believe for one second that villa would want that prat. Even more laughable that you lot will swallow these 'reports' hook, line and sinker.

It must be Villa fans voting for Avram Grant lol.In all seriousness Gus Poyet would be a very good manager for Birmingham City.

Hughton for you guys ... good guy and harshly treated by Newcastle. As for McLeish, your loss really is your gain isn't it?! Funny times on both sides of the City.
The Fear
False.

let's get all the money we can out of the idiots down the road then forget about what's happened and move on into the new season. We can't let this drag on all summer as it will have a bad effect on the team.
