Stoke City Told NO!

A £16million bid made by Stoke City for Scott Dann and Cameron Jerome has been rejected by Birmingham City this afternoon.

A report on Skysports.com say that the bid placed was more or less immediately thrown out by Blues which will test just how much Stoke want the pair.

It`s a good decision from Birmingham as they can get a big offer just for Dann from one of the bigger clubs who are after his services and it will also give the player a chance to sign for a decent footballing club instead of Stoke.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa are all said to be looking to sign Dann up and that could start off quite a bidding war, leaving Stoke as mere watchers of what`s going on.

As far as Jerome goes, they can have him for silly money if they want to pay it.

You are crazy to reject that bid

Dann is a great signing but Jerome is nothing more than an athlete in a football kit. The kid does not have a footballing brain, I can only imagine this offer is 15.5m for Dann and 500k for Jerome. Id take the money
dinky dunk
If this is true, and hopefully it isn't Birmingham will be rueing the day they turned down the opportunity to offload Jerome. Lets face it, he's pap and I pray to God we don't end up with him and bloody carlton Cole in our squad. That would suck. Dann is great, but clearly not going to go for the kind of money you delusional blues think he's worth.
