'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Gardner's Bull

Craig Gardner says he wants to play in Europe after leaving Blues who are in Europe and joining Sunderland.

The 24 year old supported City as a boy, but that does not seem to be enough to have the chance of playing in the Europa Trophy with them, he wants to start all the efforts over again with another club.

Gardner signed at the Stadium of Light for three years in a deal, the fee was undisclosed.
Gardner told SAC TV: 'It means that the club wants to go places.

'Obviously, we want to finish as high up the table as we can - we want to be in Europe next year and it's a great task to
go and chase.

'It's a good goal for us and we can go and do it, and I am sure we will.'
