More Realistic Clubs In For Dann

Chelsea and Arsenal are now thought to be ready to go head to head in the race to sign Scott Dann.

New Chelsea boss Andre Villas Boas sees Dann as the man he wants to bring into the Chelsea defence as he rebuilds for the new season at Stamford Bridge.

Stoke have supposedly had an offer accepted for the player by Blues, but why would he go to a smaller club when his future obviously warrants higher things?

Dann is now recognised as one of the best young defenders in the business and much of the reasoning for Birmingham`s relegation must be because Dann was missing at the end of the season through injury.

Liverpool and Aston Villa also interested.
