Caldwell Signing Confirmed

Caldwell Signing Confirmed

Birmingham have completed the signing of former Wigan defender Steven Caldwell on a free transfer.

The 30-year-old becomes Blues' fifth Bosman signing of the summer following Marlon King, Chris Burke, Morgaro Gomis and Adam Rooney.

New boss Chris Hughton is looking to mastermind a quick return to the Premier League but he must do it while working to a tight budget although sales of players soon should generate some cash for the manager to spend.
