Trollope Is The New Coach

Birmingham boss Chris Hughton has taken on a new first team coach in the shape of Paul Trollope.

The 39 year old was the manager of Bristol Rovers until he was sacked in December, but he was officially on gardening leave until his contract was mutually terminated yesterday.

He becomes the first new member of Chris Hughton`s new backroom staff and has had success with the Pirates by guiding them to the Johnstones Paint Trophy final as well as winning a promotion into league one.

Trollope will fly out to join the Blues squad at their pre-season training camp in Cork today.
