Michel Leaves For Spain

Birmingham confirmed today that midfielder Michel has gone back to Spain and joined Getafe for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old arrived at St Andrews in January 2010, but has now been released after making just 12 appearances for Blues and not really doing much to impress.

Michel was loaned to Greek side AEK Athens last season.

The club released a statement that said: 'Blues would like to thank Michel for his time at the club and wish him well for the future.'
