Scott Dann - Interest But No Bids Says Hughton.

Birmingham boss Chris Hughton has admitted that there has been a few enquiries about the availability of defender Scott Dann, but up to now there have been no bids.

It was thought that Stoke City had made a bid for the player and that Arsenal and Liverpool had also registered an interest, but this appears not to be the case.

Blues are under no illusion that they will be able to hang on to their prize asset, but with the player himself longing to play Premier League football, there is little they can do to keep him.

Hughton is aware of the interest in Dann, but insists no official bid has been made for the 24 year old.

Hughton told Sky Sports News: 'We are very conscious of the interest and speculation around Scott because he is a very, very good player, but until something happens he's very much a Birmingham City player and will remain so.

'There have been lots of enquiries, lots of interest in him, which is expected because he is a very good player, but no official bids yet.'

The sooner the tool has gone, the better off we will all be. Getting sick of hearing about him now.

Well said Jack Regan, after we stood by him with his injury I thought he would have shown abit more loyalty and said he wanted to stay but that would be too much to ask from a footballer, get rid and let our great new manager have his own team rather than cast off's
