Jaidi Signs in 2 million Deal

Radhi Jaidi last night agreed a move to Birmingham, and became Steve Bruce's 7th addition this season.

The former Bolton player signed in a deal worth 2 million, but is subject to Birmingham gaining an international clearance for him, although it's believed that will just be a routine matter and not present any problems.

Jaidi should be eliable for the season opener against Colchester on Saturday.

'It is a great signing for us, as Radhi is a vastly experienced centre-half.

'He has got two seasons' worth of experience of English f ootball and performed extremely well at the highest level.

'With Matthew Upson's injury, it gives us more cover in that position and will strengthen our squad for the campaign ahead.

'We are absolutely delighted to have secured his services for three years and we are still looking to add more players to our squad as well.'
