Zigic Back For Citeh Test

Zigic Back For Citeh Test

Nikola Zigic makes his long awaited return to the squad ahead of Birmingham`s difficult trip to Manchester City.

The Serbian striker last started a game for Blues at Wembley in February when they won the Carling Cup with a victory against Arsenal.

Since then Zigic has made just two substitute appearances which both came last season.

Zigic is not ready to start the tie at the Etihad Stadium so he will be on the bench.

Midfielder Keith Fahey, another member of the cup winning side, also comes back into the equation after groin problems of his own.

On-loan West Brom striker Chris Wood cannot play in the competition and Wade Elliott is cup-tied.

Hughton has doubts over a couple of unnamed players but is keeping his cards close to his chest.
