McCarthy Looks At Ex-Blue

McCarthy Looks At Ex-Blue

Ex-Blue James McFadden is training with Wolves after being released by Birmingham City at the end of last season.

Blues decided that the striker was surplus to requirements at St Andrews in the summer , but now he hopes to rebuild his career and joined up with Wolves on Monday.

McFadden, who joined Blues in 2008 making 88 appearances and scoring 14 goals had been sidelined since picking up a cruciate knee ligament injury just over a year ago.

He may have a chance of joining Wolves as manager Mick McCarthy has said that he would consider free agents.
