Hughton Happy With How Things Are Going

Hughton Happy With How Things Are Going

Chris Hughton watched his side beat Leeds United last night at St Andrews and said that their Europa Cup campaign is doing his squad good.

With European games being taken into account, Blues have now got six wins on the bounce under their belts.

And this comes after the so called experts said that at the start of the season that Blues would struggle after many players left and having the extra fixtures from the Europa League to contend with.

Hughton said to reporters: 'There have certainly been some real benefits from it (Europe), which have been that it has given us some continuity, it's allowed us to use the squad and I think that's probably the area that has benefited us.

'For us it has gone well, I have been able to make some changes and it's allowed us to have some really good competition in the squad.

'At the moment it's healthy, where it becomes a little bit more difficult is the period of time you go through when there's a few injuries. At the moment we're in decent shape.'
