Blues Won't Appeal Jerome Red

Blues have announced today that they won't be launching an appeal following the straight sending off of Cameron Jerome last weekend.

Rumours had circulated that the club would put in an appeal, at the very least to reduce the automatic 3 match ban the player now faces.

However, the official site today dismissed that idea.

Steve Bruce initially thought the player had been hard done by, but after reviewing video evidence the club have decided not to lodge an appeal.

This means that Jerome will miss the games against Sunderland, Stoke and Palace.

Duguid made the most of it but Jerome did use him arm and IMO was right to be dismissed. If Birmingham had chosen to appeal I don't think they would have been successful.

Although Wayne Brown did go to the referee and try to appeal on behalf of Jerome, saying it was never a sending off...... :-/

I'm sure he'll learn his lesson. With Forssell, Campbell and Bendtner around and possibly McSheffrey or AN Other on the way in it could be an expensive mistake.
