Zigic Committed To The Blues

Blues striker Nikola Zigic says that he is going to remain at St Andrews and concentrate on helping City cet back into the Premier League.

There was talk about the tall one leaving Blues last summer and it was expected again this January, but he insists that he is committed to the club as he believes this squad are good enough for promotion.

The 31-year-old said: 'My commitment is to Birmingham, if I can help them I want to help.

'It was disappointing to go out of Europe but now we must change our head and concentrate on the Championship.

'We want to be back in the Premier League next season.

'We have a very good group here. If these players can stay together, then we have a big possibility of winning promotion.

'We have two games in hand and if we win them that will be good for us.

'Every point is so important at this stage.'

Zigic may as well go because he is not the answer to our problems at the moment.
