David Dunn For Manchester City?

The Sunday Mirror reports that Manchester City have targetted David Dunn in a £3m deal which could also include Antoine Sibierski in part-exchange.

Will the board resist?

Surely Dunn himself should show some loyalty after Blues nursed him from one injury to another since he arrived at St. Andrews?

How long will he stay fit in a tough league like the Championship?? Maybe it'd be a good move.... then again, its another playmaker gone... Tough call.

He should show some loyalty to the club that has supported him throughout his numerous injuries. We can't afford to loose any more attacking players. The Stoke match showed just how dull and unimaginative we can be, we need Dunn to unlock those defenses!

I heard from a mate who knows Steve Stride that Doug Ellis is going to use the money he gets from selling the Villa to buy youz. When he takes over he'll definately sell Dunn!

Loyalty from players - in this game? You have to be joking!

OoahPaulMcduff... Ellis buy the Blues?? That'd be funny. Anyway, I dont think the 52p and a bag of marbles he's getting for your shower would be quite enough to dislodge the multi-millionaires we already have in place... And its a shame Lerner has already dismissed the talk of merging the clubs... we could become one side .. obviously taking the name from the city we both play in - Birmingham.. and to show its size, (ie, not a holiday home size club) we would have to be United or City... take your pick!!

That's what my mate said. He says he heard it from Stride. Supposedly Stride is going with him once the takeover is complete. Just passing on the rumour.

i see there's more villa fans on this site than the blues. i thought i'd come over and leave a few comments as your always on ours (mostly you, lil blues fan!!) i sincerely hope you guys come up this year, which if you carry on the way you've started, shouldn't be an issue. i only say this as watching you get relegated was the highlight of my, and many other villa fans otherwise drab season!! UP THE VILLA !!
