New Striker Soon

New Striker Soon

Blues manager Chris Hughton says that he is close to adding a new face to his squad within the next 24 hours.

Nikola Zigic and Marlon King are both suffering with injuries so Hughto has been on the look-out for another striker.

Daniel Cousin was a player that was looked at as well as Tottenham`s Danny Rose, but Spurs did not want him to go out on loan.

So Hughton has been after someone to strengthen the squad from a list of loan candidates or free agents.

He told the Birmingham Mail: "We`re hoping within the next two to three days that we`re able to bring somebody.

"My thoughts haven`t changed in that we`re still looking for the two or three we need to help guide us through the rest of the season.

"But it has been tough. The players we feel we could have got, or possibly might have been available, sometimes the circumstances have changed.

"I wouldn`t have expected it any other way. There`s no magic formula, a snapping of your fingers and then you`ve got the two or three players you want and need.

"But we are working very hard for that to happen."

Shopping at Aldi and Netto wont find you any bargains, just cheap, useless crap that nobody wants.
