Saunders Unhappy With Friday Fixture

Doncaster manager Dean Saunders is not happy that the game against Birmingham City takes place tonight.

The Championship strugglers take on Blues tonight at the Keepmoat Stadium, just three days after playing Crystal Palace on Tuesday.

Saunders finds it unfair because the last time City played was on Sunday when they took on Cardiff at St Andrews.

Saunders believes playing two games in such close proximity will be difficult for his side but is not giving up his club`s chances without a fight.

He said: 'It's just ridiculous when we are asking players to run and fight as if every game is a cup final and we are having to go to the wire in every match. The gruelling schedule is taking its toll.'
