Carr's Season Ended Early?

Stephen Carr may have played his last game for Blues this season after undergoing a knee operation.

Carr is out of contract in the summer and is yet to enter talks over a new deal.

Blues boss Chris Hughton was forced to concede that it is not likely that he will return to action this season, although he will not give up hope.

'He had a small knee operation about three weeks ago to take a little bit of debris out of it,' he told the Birmingham Mail.

'If we can get him back at any stage this

eason it will be a real bonus.

'It could be one that keeps him out for the season, but we have to look at the positives.'
