Blues Set For Palace Test

Birmingham City face Crystal Palace this weekend and they are hoping there will be a return of Keith Fahey.

The ROI international has been out of the Blues last three games due to a groin complaint, but he returned to full training on Thursday and Chris Hughton hopes he will be available.

Defenders Stephen Carr (knee), Jonathan Spector (thigh) and Pablo Ibanez (hamstring) are all still out of the action although Spector and Ibanez are looking to return in the very near future.

Things have been going right for Blues of late and they were boosted by a 3-1 win at Burnley during the week that saw them make a tighter hold on gaining a play off place come the end of the season.

Hughton could however be tempted to rest a couple of his players against Palace as they have a game away to West Ham on Monday to negotiate.
