Blues Legend Suffers Heart Attack

Birmingham City legend Trevor Francis is recovering in hospital after suffering a heart attack on Friday.

The 57 year old underwent surgery at Solihull hospital after he had been complaining of chest pains earlier in the day.

It is now being reported that he is expected to return home to his family after the weekend.

A statement on the Birmingham City's official website read: 'Everybody at Birmingham City FC would like to send our best wishes to club legend Trevor Francis following news that he is recovering in hospital from a suspected heart attack.

'The former Blues striker and manager is much loved by everybody associated with the club and we'd like to wish Trevor a speedy recovery.'
