Butland Back At St Andrews

Due to the injury to Boaz Myhill`s thumb, Birmingham have recalled goalkeeper Jack Butland from his loan spell at Cheltenham.

Myhill is on loan from West Brom at the moment and he picked up the injury during the warm up to the game against Bristol City last week.

Myhill will play no part in the game against Ipswich Town tonight, Colin Doyle will be given the keeper`s shirt.

And after that, manager Chris Hughton had no option but to recall Butland who will now take a place on the Blues bench.

Hughton said: 'We'll assess Boaz over the next couple of days and the extent of his injury, with him being out it was an obvious one to bring Jack back.

'It's not broken, in effect I think he's sprained it but we need to see whether it's more than that.'
