Hughton To The Baggies?

The Press Association seem to believe that West Brom will be trying to take Chris Hughton away from Birmingham should Roy Hodgson become the manager of England.

Hughton could have become the manager of the Baggies once before when Roberto Di Matteo left The Hawthorns 15 months ago, but Hodgson got the job.

Despite losing most of last season's relegated squad, and financial restraints, Hughton has guided Blues into the Championship play-offs as well as having a great run in the Europa Cup competition.

And City would not be too keen to let such a move happen and even if it was to come about, West Brom would have to come up with a substantial compensation package.
