'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Marlon King Warns Blackpool

Marlon King has warned Blackpool to beware tonight as Blues are fired up for this game more than any other and are determined to reach Wembley.

Tom Ince gave Blackpool a lucky but slender one goal advantage after the first leg, but it just may be that their incapability of adding a second may cost them dear tonight at St Andrews as Birmingham try to turn the tie on it`s head.

King was the unluckiest man on the field at Bloomfield Road when he was twice denied goals by the woodwork.

And the 18-goal striker is backing Blues to put on a much-improved showing.

'We'll look at the first game and know we were nowhere near where we should be,' he told Sky Sports.

'We've put it right on the training ground and I think the boys are hungry and raring to go. Wednesday night should be a different game.'

King was asked how the team felt after the first leg defeat, he added: 'It was disappointing, but we knew that we had chances and we're going to get more chances.

'I hit the woodwork twice and on another night they could have gone in. But we know we weren't anywhere near where we can be, where we should be - we want to put that right.'
