Mutch Taken By Surprise With Move

Jordon Mutch says he was surprised that his move to Cardiff City came about so quick.

The ex-Blues midfielder went to Cardiff last week for 3million even though he was preparing himself for another season at St Andrews.

He was looking forward to helping the club do even better than last season when they bowed out of the playoffs in the semi final stages.

ow, however, he will be trying to do the same thing with the other side that went out in the semis.

Mutch told the Birmingham Post: "It was a shock, it came out of the blue, it all happened very quickly. I didn`t ask to leave but Cardiff came in and agreed a fee, and then it was my side of it.

"That was sorted, I had a medical and it was done. That`s all I can say on it, really, it happened in a couple of days."
