Lovenkrands Becomes Clark's First Capture

Peter Lovenkrands joined Birmingham City as Lee Clark set about strengthening the side after the transfer embargo was lifted.

The 32 year old is hoping to help City get back into the Premier League after joining on a free transfer.

It`s not the first time that the forward has been a target of Birmingham; in the past both Alex McLeish and Chris Hughton tried to bring the Dane to the Midlands.

Blues new man scored 26 goals for Newcastle from 85 appearances.
