Birmingham Swap Caddis For Rooney

Birmingham have completed the loan signing of Swindon right-back Paul Caddis, while Adam Rooney goes the other way.

Caddis arrives at St Andrews on a season long loan with Rooney going in the opposite direction in a similar move on the same terms.

Caddis was the captain of the Robins side that won league two last season but this term he has fell out of favour with Paolo Di Canio.

The player and his manager have been at loggerheads recently with Di Canio not happy about a change in attitude from the player.

The 24 year old former Celtic defender could go straight into the squad for Saturday's home game with Peterborough United.

He was a shining star in a dull game last week, the 'dude' has class, good signing.
