Everton Trying A Late Bid For Butland?

Everton Trying A Late Bid For Butland?

According to reports, Everton are in talks with Birmingham with a view to trying to do a late deal for goalkeeper Jack Butland.

The 19 year old has just broken into the Blues side after picking up his first England cap and representing Team GB in the Olympics.

Lee Clark wants to make Butland his number one keeper at St Andrews and in recent reports Butland said that he was more than happy with being at Birmingham.

It is believed the Toffees have made an offer in the region of £6 million for Butland, to be paid in instalments, Clark on the other hand, wants more like £8 million.

What kind of stupid half baked move can this be? If he stays and makes a name for himself at Blues he can then be sold to a bigger, better team who's fans aren't theiving moronic, drugged up pond life like everton fans
