'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Blues Snap Up Leroy Lita On Emergency Loan.

Birmingham City have confirmed that they will be taking Swansea City striker Leroy Lita on a three month emergency loan.

The 27 year old has to wait until Saturday before the move can go ahead officially as that is when the loan window re-opens, but the deal has been done, contract signed and medical passed.

Lita has been with the Welsh outfit since moving from Middlesbrough 12 months ago in a move which cost the Swans 1.75million.

The loan has been snapped up by Lita who is keen to play first team football again after slipping down the pecking order at the Liberty Stadium.

Blues boss Lee Clark told Blue's official website: 'I know Leroy very well having worked with him at Norwich during a loan spell in which he scored seven goals in 16 games.

'He's a proven goalscorer who has power and pace and there's no doubt that he'll add quality to my squad.'

Lets hope he can help us get a few goals, we need someone to ignite things up front. Anyone else get the feeling that he has had his best days a long time ago at Reading?

Dont want to sound defeatist all the time but he has had far too many clubs to have been any good

This dude might just be right about Clark, he should do, he waatched him bugger things up at his own club.

He might have been a bit of a dick at Huddersfield but like the man above says, we have to give him a good chance. I was a lot of us who wanted him in the first place, me included.

As for Lita, he's here for three months with a point to prove to his own club, he just might come good.

I dont care if he only scores two or three so long as they are winners I'm happy

3D's got it right imo blue bloke, but not to worry once Pannini takes over he'll probably get his own man in... Clark talks a good game but his teams tend to be inconsistant ... He thinks he is a tactical genius and comes up with alsorts of game plans (so he says),but on match days once the other manager susses out whats going on and makes a few substitutions I'm afraid Clark is finished...He leaves his own substitutions (if any) till its far too late in the game for them to do any good, and he never has a "plan B" ... He buys players like they are going out of fashion, some dont even get a game, and most are soon out of favour,to be replaced by more relentless new signings, till he has got that many he doesnt know what to do with them all...He can sell sand to the Arabs, but what good is sand..? Of course these are only my opinions,Im sure you lot will have him sussed out yourselves before much longer ...
