Ahead Of The Barnsley Game

Blues have a 5:20 kick off time for the game against Barnsley at St Andrews on Saturday.

Lee Clark has problems ahead of the game, not least being at right back, Paul Caddis has been unlucky and dislocated his shoulder in the win over Bolton on Tuesday.

Club captain Stephen Carr will miss the game as well as he is out of action for at least six months after undergoing Surgery on his knee.

Of course Curtis Davies may be asked to fit in at right back while Jonathan Spector could fill in at the back enabling Keith Fahay to come off the bench and see some action in midfield.

Midfielder Darren Ambrose has been suffering with a thigh problem and will have late tests even though he has missed the last three.

Nikola Zigic will be looking for a part to play after being left out of the Bolton game.

Good call 3D,although I think you probably meant inconsistency,he he he...Unfortunatly lads now youve had the 5 nil mauling clark will go all defensive if he runs true to form and you will see his 5-4-1 line up,or possibly initialy 4-5-1...Its down hill all the way from here I'm afraid...This is exactly what happened to us,I think Banzli put 5 past us for no reply, and clarke went obscessively defensive for the rest of the time he was with us.Hence his famous record unbeaten run that got us nowhere fast, and ultimatly would have cost us promotion yet again if it wasnt for Grayson taking over in the nick of time...Doesnt look like hes learned anything from his time at Town and his brief spell away from the football spot light...Town fans had 3 frustrating years watching him spend obscene amounts of money, listening to his excuses, and getting us nowhere fast...We can all now read him like a book...
