Tributes Come In For John Bond

Tributes Come In For John Bond

Tributes have been paid today for one of footballs legends, John Bond who sadly died aged 79.

Bond will have been best remembered for taking over at Manchester City and leading them to an epic FA Cup final with Tottenham.

Bond began his managerial career with Bournemouth and led them to promotion from the old fourth division at the first attempt.

He went on to manage Norwich, Manchester City, Burnley, Swansea, Birmingham and Shrewsbury.

Bond was a West Ham man during his playing career and he also played for Torquay United.
