David Sullivan believes that the Blues squad is still good enough to gain promotion despite no deals coming to fruition on deadline day.
Speaking to the press, Sullivan still has confidence that the squad we have can get us back into the Premiership at the first time of asking.
'I have every confidence in the squad that is in place.
'We have spent a lot of money already this season and if you asked any manager in our division whether they would swop our squad for theirs, I would be surprised if any of them said no.
'They probably couldn't afford to pay the wages, but in terms of the players we have and the strength in depth, our squad is very, very good.
'I know that Steve Bruce wouldn't change the squad for any other. On that basis, I believe we can win promotion and I expect us to be up there at the end of the season.'
