New Signing Will Open New Doors

Signing of Papa Bouba Diop opens up a whole new dimension to Blues game according to manager Lee Clark.

Diop will put pressure on the likes of Keith Fahey, Hayden Mullins, Jonathan Spector and Darren Ambrose as all fight for a place in the midfield.

Although the club are still waiting for the player's visa to come through so that he can get down to action.

Clark told the club's official website: 'He's a very strong, physical type of player who is comfortable on the ball as well and we believe he can give us something a little bit different in that midfield area.

'He's an impressive and imposing type of guy and a big central midfield player. He's got a good pedigree and was part of the West Ham team who got promoted last year, so we're looking for his experience and know-how and determination to help us through.'
