Liverpool Keeping An Eye On Redmond

There have been reports that Liverpool are looking to tempt talented youngster Nathan Redmond away from St Andrews.

The England under 19 international is said to be getting Brendan Rodgers get a bit sweaty and he would love to add the player to his school of youngsters that he has been nurturing.

Redmond has been the subject of other speculation after failing to agree new terms, the Daily Telegraph however reports that Redmond has been waiting for a new contract for over a year, he now has just 18 months on his current deal to run.

The paper also reports that Liverpool are not the only club keeping tabs on Redmond, Tottenham and Manchester City are said to be monitoring the situation.

What chance Blues have of keeping this brilliant youngster is virtually none. It doesn't seem that the club can put a decent contract together to try and keep him. And once a big club comes sniffing, you cant blame the player for wanting to move on.

Redmond will be gone as soon as, he has been *****ed about and wants to get on. Not sure that Liverpool is the place to go though
