Blues off to seaside for FA Cup

Blues will travel to League Two's bottom side Torquay as they begin their quest for silverware in the FA Cup.

The Gulls, currently five points adrift from safety, will be hopeful of performing a giant-killing when they meet Blues on the weekend of 7/8 January 2006.

Whilst Steve Bruce and the boys will be looking to progress, they must first ensure they do not suffer the same fate as our dear neighbours when it comes to beating lower league opposition :-)

Other ties in the competition see Villa travel to Championship side Hull, whilst ex-Blue Mark Cooper takes his Tamworth side to Stoke.
