Parkinson Accuses Jaidi Of Faking

Hull manager Phil Parkinson has accused defender Radhi Jaidi of play acting and being responsible for the dismissal of Jon Parkin is yesterdays match.

Blues won the hard fought battle 2-1 in the end but the controversial moment came when second half substitute Jon Parkin was sent off for a second bookable offence.

The player had only been brought onto the pitch with 12 minutes of time to play so to put himself in the position of being sent off for two bookable offences is hardly the fault of Jaidi.

Even if he did make a meal of it, as Parkinson accuses, if Parkin hadn't put in such a challenge then Jaidi would've had nothing to make a meal of.

Speaking to the press Hull's manager said:

'I thought the sending off was very harsh. The reaction of players to innocuous challenges like that sometimes influence a referee's decision.

'Did he make a meal of it? I felt it was just a routine challenge, the kind you get 50 times in a game. I thought the sending off was harsh.'

Bruce said however:

'Their manager must have great eyes because from where I'm sitting I can't tell what has happened. I haven't seen video evidence and I'm not going to pass comment.'
