Blues Turn Down Forest Approach For Winger
Birmingham City have turned down a bid for winger Chris Burke from Nottingham Forest according to reports.
The Scot has been with Blues since joining from Cardiff City just before Alex McLeish left the club to try and take Villa down.
And it's McLeish who is interested in the layer again with him being in charge of things at Forest, he is looking to boost his squad for a crack at promotion.
Blues are under pressure to sell players and even though McLeish's initial bid has been turned away, they might tempt the club with an improved offer before the current window closes.
